I have always loved vintage treasure hunting. It runs in my family! :-) I get it from my beloved Mom, and she got it from her Aunt who had a thrift store in the 1930's and 1940's in Bay City, Michigan.

Through the years I have collected a little bit of everything from vintage clothing, vintage ribbon, vintage glass, vintage silverplate, to any thing pretty. I especially adore glass, along with anything frilly and French.

For my first Etsy blog post, I wanted to share my updated cabinet filled with blue and green glass, along with a tiny bit of soft pink.

I painted this cabinet white a few months ago so that the colors would be more striking. I really like how it turned out. It has been filled with a mis-matched combination of glass, cups and saucers, silverplate, knife rests, etc. so I decided to take some time to organize it and I am very happy with how it turned out.

So many of these pieces I have inherited from my Mom, purchased from my Mom, found at flea markets, yard sales, and estate sales. I even found the green Fenton epergne at Goodwill!

The most precious pieces are, of course, the items that originally belonged to my Mom. She went to be with the Lord only a month ago. I am sad and I feel lost without her, but when I look around me, she is here with me in all of these pretty things, and that gives me joy. I miss her so much. Here are a few pictures of Mom. Don't mind me as I get teary eyed looking at these. Xoxoxo

I hope you have enjoyed this post:-) It is my first blog post in many, many years so I am definitley not a expert in this. :-)

Have a wonderful day!
