Womens Vintage 1950s Couture Black Velour Fur Top Hat With Black Satin Ribbon

A fantastic vintage 1950’s black velour spun fur cap with stove pipe top with a gros grain base then wrapped diagonally with black satin ribbon. This is more of a cap that fits atop the hair using a hat pin. It is very elegant and has a black netted veil.
The black spun fur fabric is a “Peachbloom Velour” A “Merrimac Body Made of Imported Fur” “Union Made” USA
The size tag says 23 but I measured it a little over 21 inches around the inner brim.
Condition: Excellent Vintage. It still has the original cardboard insert in the “stove pie” and we didn’t notice any breaks in the netting.
