Rare Indian Chief Hand Carved Book Ends Solid Wood “Chief Brothers” By Robert M Carnes 1973 Western American Decor Modernist 8”
A rare set of large Indian Chief book ends that were hand carved from a heavy solid wood that looks like oak, or another wood like it. The foot plate on the back of the Indian is steel and there is a brass plate on the back that says “Chief Brothers, December 1973, Robert M Carnes”.
The color of the wood is rich brown, most like the first photo.
The condition is super nice with no chips, cracks, or other issues.
Each Chief weighs over 2 pounds.
