A beautifully carved ivory spoon in a large size. The handle is completely carved, front and back, in a lovely design accented with what looks like Moses at the top. The spoon is an estate find with a red sticker on the back. The writing is difficult to read. It will remain on the spoon for possible clues to its origination. It looks like the spoon is two pieces that are very nicely fit and tight. The separation is right above the lower column-like carvings. Just beautiful! |
