Vintage 1980's Black Knit Ruffle Dress By Adolfo

A beautiful, very unique dress from the late 70's to early 1980's. Made by Adolfo in a black knit wool (Like ST John clothing ) The style is flirty and feminine with black taffteta ruffled details. The neckline lays high on the bodice with ruffles framing the face. They drape down the back and over the hips that are also accented with a black taffeta bow. The puffed ruffled sleeves are delicately split in the center for added flare and the skirt is trimmed with the same ruffled black taffeta. It zips in the back and is unlined. Please note there are 4 small repairs in the weave on the front left side, though they are well done. A gorgeous dress too fantastic not to share! |
